WHAT IS
ARARAT MUSIC?
Ararat Music is a talent incubator located in Mexico City, directed by musician and producer Alejandro Aznavwrian. This art centre has dedicated more than 18 years to the formation and professionalization of young musical talents, giving them the opportunity to acquire a scholarship in prestigious foreign universities
This formation is part of the "Professional Course", where students take classes of Composition, Arrangement, MIDI, Audio Engineering, Transactional Analysis, Film Scoring, Production, Classical Guitar, Electric Guitar, Percussion, Piano, Vocals, Electric Bass, Flamenco Guitar, La Técnica al Filo (Technique for fusion guitar), History of art, Organology, Octave intonation adjustment, Interpreter's psychology, etc.. This tools are strenghtened throughout the course and in the last portion of the program, the student learns to produce by watching and helping a professional musician, as well as recording their own music and that of their classmates, with this they demostrate their willingness to become a professional musician and producer.
Throughout the years Ararat Music's development has improved considerably, allowing students to learn more and use their abilities to become a professional musician, audio engineer, composer, instrumentalist or producer.Professional course graduated students have been awarded on competitions that took place in foreign countries.
alejandro aznavwrian
Alejandro Aznavwrian is the creator of a technique for fusion guitar, called "La Técnica al Filo", based on percussive rhythms and cadences from flamenco guitar and latin american music. This technique focus on developing a concert guitarist in rhythm, harmony and melody, along with percussive techniques and strumming. Throughout his career he was distinguished with a signature guitar named Aznavwrian for him by Andalusian Guitars, and also got an exact copy of Paco de Lucía's guitar. This led to the creation of his own brand, Aznavwrian Guitars.
Expanding Horizons.
Since its beginning in 1997, La Técnica al Filo has been driven onward by the creative spirit of Alejandro Aznavwrian, always ready to overcome the apparent limits of the acoustic guitar. It is on the edge of the guitar where he finds a new language and form of expression, not limited to one specific genre, but joining all in one technique, combining the bases of flamenco strumming with traditional rhythms and cadences of Latin America. The creation of this technique leads to the construction of a new acoustic guitar model, especially designed for La Técnica Al Filo, with an extra harmonic bar, protective plastic micas and trimmed frets.
The first model was manufactured by Andalusian Guitars, called Aznavwrian Standard, created to the proportion of Alejandro Aznavwrian.

With wide and abundant experience in the music medium, as a concert guitarist, session musician, sound artist, DJ, Audio engineer, composer and academic trainer, Alejandro Aznavwrian is today a very important producer, Director of Ararat Music, talent training center, founder of the record label Ararat Music Records with more than 15 productions and creator of the brand Aznavwrian Guitars.
